Seasonal Friends

In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.

Yep...true, very true. Of course, the silent ones are not truly friends in the first place...intentions not honourable...narcissists to the highest extreme. Silence is deadly to a friendship...any type of relationship, really.

We've all had this happen...makes one wish they'd never crossed paths to begin with- the betrayal is so painful...

This one hurts when it happens. If you believed he/she was a good friend, it's like your heart is cut in two. Then it bleeds. Then we change. Grow sadder, wiser...and learn. It allows us to reassess our priorities, pick out what is important and who means what to us ~ and when the time is there to say goodbye, as painful as that is.
